“… A huge thank you for everything you’ve done and all the help you’ve given me. Your conscientiousness and kindness while being serious when needed really was a great benefit to me… Thank you!” –  Sammy, December 2021

“An amazing experience that I will hold onto for life. Before I began these sessions with Sarah, I lacked confidence and self-appreciation. I just wanted to feel good in my own skin and with Sarah’s help; I appreciate myself more than I ever have. I have developed a new level of maturity and self-care. It’s so important to be kind to yourself. I can’t thank Sarah enough for her help and guidance over the last few months – I’m definitely a more positive person and my outlook on life is evolving into something very exciting.”  – Year 12 student, 2019

I also offer coaching sessions at a reduced rate for teenagers and students in Higher Education. I have over 30 years of teaching experience, making it easy for me to develop positive relationships with this age group. I truly believe that the coaching process can have a powerful impact on students’ self-esteem and motivation levels.

A variety of topics and issues can be explored in a series of sessions for students aged 14– 21.

For example:

  • lack of confidence/self-belief
  • motivation levels
  • time management
  • study/revision skills
  • worry/anxiety
  • underachievement
  • procrastination
  • goal-setting

My aim is to make the sessions positive, practical and productive. My young clients are encouraged to take responsibility, set realistic goals and build resilience, whilst at the same time, find enjoyment in making progress!

Prices:

  • Single one-hour sessions: £40 per session.
  • Package of 6 one-hour sessions: £35 per session.
  • Experience shows that committing to a series of sessions delivers better results for the client.

This package is designed to fit in with a typical half term time period, thus offering a student crucial, holistic support, for example, leading up to GCSE or A level examinations.

Providing your teenager or young adult with a coach to support them through a challenging time can improve their chances of success. It can also take the pressure off your relationship with them and can leave them with new skills and coping strategies, which they can take with them into the next phase of their lives.

Sarah very kindly offered me life-coaching for free, something she had offered to other people my age over lockdown. I had a very set way of doing things in my life, I was very harsh on myself which caused huge amounts of anxiety and a lack of motivation.

I came into life coaching with an open- mind, something which is crucial for this. Every other week we began to try to adopt ‘the new part’ which was a lighter side of myself that allowed me to not only be more positive but lower my levels of anxiety and intrinsically motivate myself. A set of actions after each session were constructed by both me and Sarah, which took place in order to make incremental changes in my life day by day.

This process is not accomplished in a short amount of time, but if you keep working with yourself and for yourself, Sarah can help you realign your priorities and give you the keys to your own kingdom. Sarah was inquisitive, informative, and interesting throughout the process and was an active listener who thrived to help people. I strongly advise looking into life-coaching, and there’s no one better than Sarah!”
